Ursula Witte

Oceanlab - Institute of Biological and Environmental Sciences, University of Aberdeen

Works as a professor of Biological Oceanography at the University of Aberdeen since 2005. The Witte research group investigates the functioning of benthic marine ecosystems, with a current focus on consequences of both anthropogenic activities and climate change.

In the period 1999-2004 professor Witte was a research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Marine Microbiology in Bremen. She earned a PhD at the University of Kiel.
