Arctic Frontiers changes it design to become more interactive and dynamic. This year Arctic Frontiers Policy will be moderated by BBC journalist Stephen Sackur known from BBC HARDtalk, the current affairs interview programme that draws the ‘unseen and unknown’ out of world leaders. With Stephen Sackur moderating we can be sure of lively and fruitful discussions between the politicians, scientists and business representatives in all sessions.
Sackur will be facilitating key discussions on the questions: What are the drivers for Arctic business development? What is the role of the Arctic in global policy development? What is the prospects for the blue economy as part of the green shift? How to connect people in the Arctic through investments in communication infrastructure? What do we know about the processes taking place under the ice and the impact of the polar night on Arctic ecosystems? What are the changes that are occurring in the Arctic ecosystems and how much of them are natural?
