Kayleigh Wyles

Environmental Psychology lecturer, University of Surrey, UK

Dr Kayleigh Wyles is an Environmental Psychology lecturer at the University of Surrey, UK. Her work has been looking at the impact marine litter has on individuals (e.g. the impact it has on people’s health and wellbeing) and the impact we have on this global problem (e.g. the role human behaviour plays and the main factors that drive each behaviour). For the latter, Dr Wyles has worked in projects in the Arctic, UK and South America within multidisciplinary teams to explore the drivers of behaviour that contributes to the problem and/or solution and examine the impacts of existing initiatives to reduce plastic waste (e.g. Fishing For Litter and volunteer clean-ups).
