Elana Wilson Rowe

Elana Wilson Rowe (PhD, Geography, Cambridge, 2006) is a research professor at the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI, Oslo) and an adjunct professor at the High North Centre for Business and Governance. She has a longstanding research interest in power and expertise in global governance. She is the author of Arctic Governance: Power in cross-border relations  (Manchester University Press, 2018) and Russian Climate Politics: Science meets policy (Palgrave, 2013). She is the recipient of a European Research Council Starting Grant and leads ‘The Lorax Project: Understanding Ecosystemic Politics’ (2019-2025).
