Dinner reception: Ocean possibilities

A growing global population will be increasingly dependent on marine resources for food, energy and medicine. Healthy and productive oceans are the foundation for Arctic coastal communities. Business is given a key role and responsibility for health and sustainability of the world’s oceans. What do we need to know about the Arctic Ocean to make the best use of it, and take best care of it, for future generations? How do we ensure that the international community works towards economic growth whilst preserving a sound ocean environment?

Program: opening remarks by Ole Øvretveit Director of Arctic Frontiers and Sigrid Ine Simonsen, County Councillor of Cultute and Industry followed by music by the Arctic Philharmonic

Networking at Arctic Frontiers:

Arctic Frontiers gathers political leaders, business executives and other key policymakers from all over the world and across many industries to discuss the future of the Arctic. Following the Plenary, Science programs and the side events, the delegates are offered to attend our networking receptions. The receptions keep the interaction going and continue the day's conversations in a relaxed environment. Attendees, speakers, journalists and side event organizers enjoy the opportunity to network with colleagues, and new professional connections. The Arctic Frontiers receptions provide the opportunity to share ideas, solutions and create lasting connections with our partners, speakers and conference delegates.
