All of the prices and details  you need to register for Arctic Frontiers 2024: Actions & Reactions.

Delegate Type

Regular Participant

This options is relevant for most conference participants and should be selected if none of the others are applicable to you.

Invited Guest

For delegates having received invitations for the conference containing invitation codes. The code is entered on the payment page.

Arctic Frontiers Partner

Participants from Arctic Frontiers’ Partner organisations can register for a discounted rate from November 13th. Contact  [email protected] to receive a coupon code. Select your affiliation from the dropdown menu when you register. The code is entered on the payment page and can not be used in combination with another discount.

Media

Arctic Frontiers permits complimentary entrance to the conference for select media, however you are still required to register. 

Early Career Professional

For PhD candidates and professionals who received their highest degree (e.g BSc, MA, PhD) within the past five years (excluding career breaks due to parental leave, community service, personal illness etc.).

Student

For students in high school, bachelors or master’s level. Student status must be confirmed by sending a photo of your student ID, semester card, or alternative document to [email protected] before you register.

Registration Prices

Daily Registration

Daily registration includes:

  • Access to the Science, Big Picture, Side Events and Opens on the days that you register for,
  • Morning and afternoon coffee break and snacks,
  • Poster session and science reception on Monday evening,
  • Possibility to attend the main reception on Wednesday evening (370 NOK addition).
 

Staying for the whole conference? If you register for all four days, you receive a 20% discount (automatic deduction at checkout).

You can pay by credit card or invoice. Invoices must be agreed ahead of registration, please contact [email protected] for an invoice code. There is a 200 NOK addition for invoices.

Early Bird

Register before 12. November to receive 15% discount on your registration (automatic deduction at checkout). Student prices are not included in the early bird discount.

Lunch and reception tickets can also be added to your registration.

For the best hotel price and guaranteed availability, book through our registration page. We have reserved a limited number of hotel rooms at Clarion the Edge hotel.

Conference Fee Waivers and Travel Grants for Young Northern Norwegians

With the support of Sparebank1 Nord-Norge / Samfunnsløftet, we are happy to announce the availability of up to ten conference pass fee waivers and a limited number of travel grants designed in the form of lump sums, exclusively intended for individuals up to the age of 35 residing in Norway’s northern counties Nordland, Troms and Finnmark or Svalbard.

These waivers and travel grants have been established to facilitate attendance at the 2024 Arctic Frontiers Conference for eligible candidates. Priority will be given to students or those who have yet to enter professional life.

The allocation of waivers and travel grants is at the sole discretion of Arctic Frontiers. The travel grants are distributed following the submission of travel-related expense receipts and will cover expenses up to a total sum of NOK 5000 per successful applicant.

If you meet the criteria for a fee waiver and/or travel grant, we encourage you to apply by filling out the form below as soon as possible and by no later than 8 January 2024.

Fee Waivers for Conference Pass for Indigenous Persons and Individuals from Underserved Communities

Arctic Frontiers supports the participation of individuals with indigenous backgrounds and individuals from underserved communities and is delighted to announce the availability of a limited number of conference pass fee waivers exclusively intended for eligible individuals.

These fee waivers have been established to facilitate attendance at the 2024 Arctic Frontiers Conference. Priority will be given to students or those who have yet to enter professional life. The allocation of waivers and travel grants is at the sole discretion of Arctic Frontiers.

If you meet the criteria for a fee waiver and/or travel grant, we encourage you to apply by filling out the form below as soon as possible and by no later than 8 January 2024.

Young Canadian Conference Delegate 

Arctic Frontiers supports the participation of young (18-35) Canadian individuals and is delighted to announce the availability of a limited number of bursaries to cover travel, food, accommodation and conference registration. The Young Canadian Conference Delegate bursaries are generously sponsored by Global Affairs Canada through the Global Arctic Leadership Initiative (GALI). Priority will be given to individuals from northern and underserved communities.
