PhD Candidate, Friedrich Alexander University, Germany
I am a graduate from Kerala Agricultural University. I have done my masters on Climate change adaptation. My passion towards environmental science has led me to start a career on climate change and cryospheric research. At present I am working as a project Associate at Indian Institute of Science. The mahor focus of my research is to to understand the impact of climate change on Himalayan glaciers using remote sensing and numerical modeling approaches. Along with it I have conducted multiple field investigations on glaciers of Himalaya and Iceland, where I have engaged with the mountain communities to learn their adaptive capacity to climate change.
