Lecturer, University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne

Lecturer in Geography at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (Paris, France) and at the UMR8586 PRODIG, I am 35 years old and I am Director of the Master’s Degree in Geopolitics (Master 2 géopolitique) since 2019-2020. I am also President of the Commission of Political Geography and Geopolitics of the French National Committee of Geography (CNFG).

My research work is in the field of energy geography and geopolitics. It first focused on Russia and the development of gas networks in Eastern Russia, which was an opportunity to understand the territoriality of energy issues and the interplay of actors that they involve. This interest in Eastern Russia shifted to the Russian Arctic regions and more broadly to the Arctic. I continued to deepen my reflections on energy in the field of political geography and in particular on the notion of energy transition applied to Arctic territories.
