Chloe Scott (Canada)

University of Hertfordshire, UK

From skiing her hometown mountains in Canada to trekking through the Icelandic highlands, Chloe Scott has always felt most at home on snow! She recently completed her MSc International Business, for which she wrote her dissertation on the implications of increased maritime traffic on the Arctic blue economy. This topic led Chloe to discover the realm of Arctic geopolitics, and she is now applying to continue her research at the PhD level. As a Canadian studying in an era of Truth and Reconciliation, she is particularly passionate about the protection of Indigenous rights in the circumpolar Arctic. Now residing in London, UK, she serves as a Festival Coordinator for the UK Polar Network, and am a Fellow with the Polar Research and Policy Institute where she is currently researching Arctic investment. Chloe is thrilled to have been selected as one of Arctic Frontiers’ Emerging Leaders!
