Alice Pradel (France)

University of Rennes

Alice Pradel is a PhD fellow studying the environmental fate and behavior of nanoplastics in the environment, at University of Rennes. Various work and research experiences pertaining to the environmental impact of human activities has led her to focus ultimately on soil and water quality. She started by developing a student-led ecological farm at McGill University in Canada. She then worked in the agricultural and forestry industries and studied the impact petroleum exploitation on wildlife, in Canada’s boreal forest. Finally,  Alice has worked on mapping the transfer of an infamous pesticides in the French Caribbean island. In her free time she is involved with the NGO Climate-Finance Pact, which proposes a solution to fund the energetic transition in the European Union.
